A celebration of creating and sharing. Our evening celebrates: our work and mission; our donors and volunteers; and — most importantly — the lives saved and improved because of everyone’s effort. The Heart Ball promises to be an engaging evening of fun and passion bringing community and philanthropic leaders together. Last year, our Heart Ball campaign raised just over $51 million nation-wide allowing us to fund over $123 millon of research and programs across the country and in our community.
The American Heart Association’s Heart Ball occurs in over 270 locations nationwide, celebrating the energy, passion and commitment of donors, doctors, patients, volunteers and sponsors in the fight against heart disease and stroke. Thanks to their support of the Heart Ball, advances are continually being made to improve the countless lives affected by heart and stroke-related illnesses.
We are extremely honored that one of Kansas City’s most influential organizations is leading the 24th annual Heart and Stroke Ball – Saint Luke’s Health System. More than 80 local businesses and 950 guests will join them Feb. 19, 2011 to celebrate the American Heart Association’s lifesaving work for Kansas City families.
